Each One Reach One (E1R1)
First Lutheran Church in Harrison, AR, is hosting Each One Reach One, an evangelism program in partnership with the Mid-South District and Mid-South District LWML. The presenter will be the Mid-South District President Rev. Dr. Roger Paavola. Recent studies found that aggressive “sales pitch” focused evangelism programs from the ‘80s to ‘00s have been ineffective in delivering the Gospel to the those in need. The E1R1 program brings a revolutionary, but common sense, growth model which other denominations are adopting in their own outreach programs. E1R1’s program is designed for relational outreach in the community in a “low pressure” approach to spreading the Gospel. There are no lines or quips to memorize, but the program focuses on building relationships in sharing the Gospel to the people God has placed around us in our various vocations. This is a program literally for everyone to reach one person in their lives.
Your church is invited to attend. LCMS churches in the Jonesboro and Fayetteville Circuits are invited along with Faith Lutheran in Branson, MO. Seating is limited to 65 people for this event to accommodate some social distancing in our sanctuary. Seating will have to be on a first-come, first reserved basis. Pastor Zwick encourages the pastors and evangelism/outreach teams at your congregation to attend, however, any member of your congregation is welcome to participate in this opportunity to learn how to share the Gospel. This is a great opportunity for your congregation to be on the cutting edge of evangelism!
